Automatic, a vocal-led record with a darker club counterpart, out now on Percue Records.

There is something instinctive and magnetic about Automatic. Built around Julia Beverly’s vocal, the original gradually opens into a rich arrangement of synths and melodic detail, with new elements appearing as others fall away.

The Club Mix takes those foundations into darker territory. Tougher drums, simmering pressure, and a vocal that moves in and out of the mix give it a more powerful, late-hours character.

With this release, NEXUS explores two sides of the same record, moving from melodic and emotional to darker and more driving while keeping tension and release at the core of the sound.
